Recycled Question of the Day

If President Bush was assassinated, how do you think the left would react?

I don't like to think about these things, but we all know it's a possibility.

Tough call. I'll go with either

1) relief
2) fear (Cheney would be Pres, and most of them hate him even more than Bush).

I'm pretty sure it would be something like this:
Today in news, after the assasination of President Bush, many of the left persuasion danced in the streets singing Kum Bah Yah.

Then Rumsfeld ran them over.Hehehe.

In 1982 I was 20 and dating a 32 yr old woman (it was fun but it didn't last). Her roomate Catherine, however, was 22 and seemed like just the sweetest thing.

Anywho, some of my gal's friends were over and for some reason the conversation went to who was capable of taking a life.

"I doubt that I could" Daniel said.

"I don't think I could possibly kill someone" said Janet.

Then Catherine said serenely: "I could kill Reagan..."

We all just looked at her quizzically and she looked back a bit stunned. "What...?"

That's the moment that I found out that Catherine was a moonbat.

Hm. I pictured them dancing, and yelling, flipping cars, and setting furniture on fire. ...or maybe that's just what the UConn ones would do. It's tradition ya know.
I'm sure the left in general would react similarly though.

Sadly, probably not all that differently than they reacted to Reagan's death. Make a big production and pretense about how terrible it was, and then proceed (I mean, continue) to derail everything he's done. They've tried for over a decade to rewrite Reagan's legacy and accomplishments. I imagine they will spend at least as much time, living or dead, doing the same to Bush's.

I never could figure out the whole Cheney thing. He said he never wanted to run the country, meaning he'd try to dump off the job ASAP if forced to take over. That's been bothering me since Bush was elected in 2000. I guess it's a good thing Bush isn't the one with the heart problem.
