Yes, that is an American flag on the ground. And yes, that is a protester trampling on it. Actually, she was jumping and dancing on it. Repeatedly. While people in the background yelled "Free Palestine!"
By the way, has anyone else noticed that the protesters seem to be having way too much fun at these things? You'd think if they were serious about their cause, they wouldn't be treating it like a form of amusement.
Oh, well. I'm guessing that they're just too dumb to realize that protests are supposed to be a serious thing. Or maybe they're just proving that ignorance really is bliss.
In any case, I may have to take a cue from The Sicilian and start beating up hippies on a regular basis.
