Caged Dissent

I'm sure most of you have seen this already. That's the left for ya, so open-minded and tolerant of opposing viewpoints.

Morons.

Serves the protesters right for questioning the Democrats patriotism. What if they try to execute Kerry for treeson?

Actualy, I think Kery questions his own.

I think it's a good idea to use this to keep innocent bystanders from being harassed. Their voices are heard, without causing riots. Besides that, anyone who can't present themselves well enough to command respect without heckling the audience is probably full of crap anyway.

I'll be fair -- I won't accuse Republicans of being crazy fascists if I see a "protest cage" set up outside the RNC. I think it's a good idea in general. If the protesters really wanted attention, they'd organize their own rally in a building, like the rest of civilized society who has a problem with something.

I just have a problem with anyone who intentionally tries to cause a disturbance. I can't figure out what the problem is with groups simply holding their own meetings to vent their arguments. There's a fine line between free speech and absurdity.
