So, just to kill some time, I'm making this an open thread. Just leave a comment about anything you want, and maybe a discussion will get going eventually. This would be a good time for any lurkers to make their presence known.
I'll try to have something written by the end of the week, but my brain is more focused on music right now (band camp starts in 2 weeks), and I've been ignoring a lot of political issues. My temporary drum instructor said I should practice for 3-4 hours every day if I want to be ready for the audition, so you can probably imagine what that's going to do to my blogging time.
That's it. Feel free to comment about anything. I've been wanting to try this for a while anyway.

I'm of the opinion that we should retire the phrase "the best thing since sliced bread", on the grounds that Swiss Cake Rolls are better than sliced bread. We should change it to "the best thing since Swiss Cake Rolls".
