You know...I'd like to see just one good meteor shower at some point in my life, but the weather ruins all of 'em! The last 3 Perseid showers (including the one happening right now as it rains here in PA) have been ruined by clouds, the last couple Geminid showers have been ruined by clouds, and during the much-hyped Leonid shower of 2002, despite the fact that I woke up at 4:30 AM to watch, I only saw 23 meteors in over an hour because of...you guessed it: ClOUDS!!!
Just. One. Good. Meteor. Shower. Come on, what's it gonna take?
But anyway...was anyone in a location where the weather allowed them to see this one? Was it any good?
Posted by CD on August 12, 2004 02:23 AMI didn't see this years.. but I used to watch them all the time when I was little. I'd wake up and drag my mother out of bed and make her lie out on the lawn with me to watch them. She never watches them anymore... I usually do though.
