Bias Watch

So, my Social Psychology professor decided to give us some examples of how the subject applies to the real world. What were these examples, you ask?

- Abu Ghraib
- "Groupthink" as it relates to the evidence of WMD in Iraq
- Claiming that President Bush and patriotism were popular after 9/11 because mortality makes us protective of our leaders and our group, then saying that Bush "used the 9/11 images" (or something along those lines) to increase his popularity

This should be a fun class.

if the class ever gets dull, I'd suggest starting a pool to see how long it is until the blame the Jews meme starts in the class.
