Is it just my imagination, or have the grammatical standards of the blogosphere gone way down in the past couple months? I'm finding errors in practically every post and comment I read these days.
Learn how to use the English language, people!!!
Posted by CD on March 17, 2005 06:31 PMWere there even standards to begin with?

Well, i guess they figure that they probably won't be featured on the Evening News anymore, so what the heck, right?

Posted by: tommy at March 17, 2005 07:31 PMCD, don't you mean "the past couple OF months?"
Posted by: BD at March 17, 2005 07:58 PMThat's what we call "cherry picking," BD.
Posted by: CD at March 17, 2005 09:59 PMOr irony.
It's all good, man. I know I make my fair share of errors, like everyone else. But I would be extra careful not to make an error in a post criticizing the profusion of errors in the blogosphere.
The thing is, I've always thought that blogs weren't meant to be formal. Informal, speech-like modes of writing not only work in the blogosphere, they probably work best.
Anyway, I can't wait for the GTOL. They've been aggressively supplying you with material lately.
