Why is it that when U.S. soldiers are supposedly mistreating Iraqis, liberals portray them as a bunch of bloodthirsty rednecks, but when they're being killed in battle, liberals portray them as a bunch of poor minorities?

I didn't realize they did that. Then again, I rarely pay attention when the MSM reports on the military- they're of no use to me. If I wanna know about the war, I either read blogs or go to FOXNews.
Now, when you say "liberals", are you talking about the MSM or the real psycho left-wingers?
