Ahhhhhh. The dreaded DMV, and associate mug shots. How many hours did you have to wait in line for unfriendly, less-than-helpful service?

It moved surprisingly fast. The examiner was...interesting, though. He seemed like a disgruntled former police officer or something. Big black sunglasses, bushy mustache, excessively authoritative voice, etc.

Sounds a lot like the guy who administered my test. He must work everywhere. :) He yelled at me for driving too far to the center of the lane through an abandoned parking lot that barely had lines. I almost cried.... but I still passed. Hope it went better for you.

Maybe you did have the same guy. At one point, he said "you're on the wrong side of the road."

That may have been true, but I was kinda MAKING A TURN at the time, and the road was rather narrow...
