Checking In

I thought that since I kinda disappeared after posting the demo, I would let everyone know what's going on.

I left for Syracuse last Thursday, and for the past week, I've been spending 12 hours a day drumming my ass off at band camp. However, I was able to move straight into my fall room assignment this year, so I thought that I would still be able to blog in my spare time.

Wrong.

You see, I'm currently sitting in the computer cluster across the street from my dorm. Why? Because for some reason, the residential network is only working with Macs running OS X 10.3 or higher, and mine uses 10.2.8. They told me that they're trying to get it fixed within the next couple days, but regardless, I've been cut off from the Internet for the last week other than brief e-mail checks in the student center during breaks.

As you might guess, I'm a little pissed off about the situation. Apparently, all this "diversity" bullshit these people spout at every spare moment doesn't apply to operating systems. The anti-Mac bias on this campus is staggering.

Anyway, I just wanted to make sure that in the unlikely event that people still read SIT, they'll know what's going on. Keep the music reviews coming, and I'll try and respond to them once I get connected in my room.

Later, minions.
