Thinking Ahead

Holy crap, film classes get into your head. In my mind, I'm already screening the opening sequence of a movie that I haven't even written yet. I'm planning all kinds of shots and cuts and effects and music...and then I remember that I'm in my sophomore year of college, and I'm still learning how films are made.

...Patience is hard.

Aye, but DON'T rush it. I've been part of a film that did. The results were, hmmm, Interesting. On the upside, everybody in teh hall laughed when we viewed it. On the downside, it was a drama about a girl whose brother was killed seeking revenge (the girl was seeking, the brother was just dead).

I mean, you don't want it to turn into a CBS story do you?
By that, i mean laughable, of course.
:-D
