I have to study for a massive TRF midterm, so I'm leaving this post for discussion. However, rather than Swiss Cake Rolls, I'm sticking with the whole "how Kerry fans are taking Bush's victory" theme.
What interesting comments have you heard from friends, colleagues, etc. about the election? The "It's Finally Over" post from earlier today contains some of mine, but I'm interested in hearing yours.
Posted by CD on November 3, 2004 09:27 PMWell, I live in Alabama, surrounded by other Army Guys (insert trademark sign here), so I'm not sure I know anybody that voted for Kerry. Heh.
However, I'll give you my take:
Thank You Jesus, Bush Won.
I don't know what I would have done if Kerry won. There's no way I could ever tolerate having a man like that as my Commander-in-Chief.

so anyway... i'm noticing on AIM, a good number of away messages are mentioning assassination. (i need new friends/contacts apparently.) also, it seems they're all moving to australia.
on the other hand, my army friend responded with something like: 'YES! Now, I need to clear out time to watch Kerry cry during his speech.'
